Chances are, you and your team use version control for your applications.
Wouldn't it help to have a change management process for your database that’s just as simple?
SQL Source Control does just that. It works with your source control system inside SQL Server Management Studio, so you can source control your database as easily as your application.
Because it works with tools you already use, there’s no lengthy setup. And it helps you solve other database challenges, like deploying without losing data.
About Mike:Mike Taber is a serial entrepreneur who enjoys building businesses and solving problems. He received his BS/MS degrees in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and spent six years working in the corporate world while dabbling in side businesses.
In 2005, he founded Moon River Software and made the transition to full-time entrepreneur. In 2007, he founded Moon River Consulting and then in 2009, he cofounded the Micropreneur Academy, an online school for startup founders. Mike operates all three businesses concurrently.
In the spring and fall, Mike is the cohost of MicroConf, a conference he and his business partner created in 2011 for self-funded and bootstrapped startups. It is held in Las Vegas in the spring and in Prague, Czech Republic in the fall. He is also the co-host of the weekly podcast Startups for the Rest of Us.
When he’s not spending time with his wife, actively enjoying his whiskey collection or being driven to it by his two boys, Mike blogs at singlefounder.com where he writes a semi-regular newsletter for people who want to build their own successful businesses.
